My name is Jaiden Binning, and I am a College Sophomore of 2027. I am majoring in Biology and I am a Women’s Volleyball Player transferring from Pace University. I currently have a 5.53 overall GPA while being in my second year of University, and I have earned Academic Distinction on the Fall and Spring Academic Honour Roll at Pace University. I am a 5’11 middle blocker. I am a quick, agile player who can contribute to fast plays and keep up with intense game play. I’ve played under Pace University for the past two year while hitting 0.226% on the season, and we are currently ranked fifth in our conference. All aspects of volleyball are critical to me, from putting up a solid block to quick attacks using angles.
Academic performance is just as important as athletic performances, hence why I am committed to school and volleyball. I maintain a 3.56 GPA while playing Division II volleyball, while being a STEM major. Commitment is utmost important to me, I train and track individual progress to become the best version of a player I can be. I am considered a multi-sport athlete, as I have played competitive club basketball though out the years, travelling to the United States to compete with advanced teams. Besides playing volleyball (4 years), I’ve also played soccer (3 years), swimming (3 years) and basketball (7 years). I am taking all academic classes, including all of the sciences and maths (biology, chemistry, physics, calculus), while looking for other universities who align with my transferable credits and priorities. Determination and Discipline are grand factors in my personal life, on and off the court. I’ve learned that working hard will gurantee results, which is the reason why I consider myself a “go-getter”!
