Rachael Anderson '23 Recruiting Profile

I really love the sport of volleyball and hope to continue in college with strong athletics and academics. I’m a hard worker and am always determined to win each match I play. I like to surround myself with people and coaches who will push and support me throughout the season. 

I have learned and grown so much through the past 3 years. As a setter, I think the mental aspect of the game and court smarts are just as important as the physical aspects. I am able to adapt to new positions I am put in on the court, which I have done in the past on-court. When the team is down, I always make sure to encourage them while focusing on gaining the next point. I like to help my team in any way I can and always give 100%, as I hope my teammates will as well.

I was born in Colorado and I have dual citizenships - American and Canadian. I have not finalized what I would like to study yet, however my preferred area of study is nursing or medicine. I enjoy being challenged in my studies and in volleyball. I look forward to a program where I am challenged academically and athletically.
