Zoranil Munoz-Vazquez '16 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coach; My name is Zoranil Muñoz Vazquez, since 2012 to 2015 I start playing for ETVC Coamo Volleyball Club (Puerto Rico). I'm playing outhitter, Right Side and specialty defensive. I have been playing volleyball since I was eight years old. I have always dreamed to complete my studies in the United States doing what I love that is playing volleyball.  I come from a sports culture of intensity and all-year-around high level competition, but where nothing but the best effort is asked day in and out, in order to be able to meet expectations.

I have been a main outhitter, specialty defensive  and rigth side at my Junior and Senior Varsity in Nuestra Señora de Valvanera Catholic College of Coamo Inc., Puerto Rico.  I have always been a leader on and off the court and leading my community. I am a honor student with a GPA 3.95 and I work hard to achieve my goals.

I have several qualities that many players are missing as dedication, I always give my best in and off the court and I am very communicative with my teammates . This is one of my strongest sides. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I'm also used to play fast. I have very quick movements on the court and a strong jump serve,  pass of the great ball and effective defensive.  I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.

In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I also volunteer at local youth volleyball camps and am currently a member of our student government. I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the court. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents proud.
