Julianna Griggs '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches! 

My name is Julianna Griggs. I am an American citizen who grew up in Singapore and am half-American, and half-Brazilian. I’ve always enjoyed playing sports and developed my athleticism through 6 years of competitive gymnastics. Since middle school, my passion has been volleyball. Competitive and driven are two words that I would use to describe myself. I am a hard worker both on the court and in terms of academics. This year a key goal of mine is to increase my vertical leap by 6 inches. To achieve my goal, I am weight training three mornings per week in addition to my school and club volleyball practices. I am a leader and love to bring team spirit while working hard to support my teammates and help them to improve. Feedback is something that I always look for from coaches, in order to set and work towards new goals as well as to challenge myself. I intend to play volleyball at a competitive university in the USA.
