I'm a natural athlete, I have a high vertical and I'm a difference maker on the court. I block better than most and I have fast reflexes, which make me "scrappy". I can save plays that have gone awry. My contribution to the team is about more than technical skills- I have a positive attitude, always. I don't gossip or get into drama, my teammates are my sisters and we treat each other as such. My mental game is probably one of the best you'll see (my Mom who's a tennis coach says that lol). I don't get down or beat myself up, I compete. I train hard, in and out of season. I do HIIT training to build my endurance for multi day tournaments. I work on plyometrics to improve my vertical. I've played middle on my school and club teams because that's where they have needed me most, but I really love playing right side hitter and that's now my primary position in club. When I'm not at team practice, I'm on the volleyball court myself or with friends working on drills to improve my passing, serving and serve-receive so that I can be a more versatile player. I am more competitive for college scholarships in track to be honest. I've broken several club records and have stood on the podium in two track and field national championships. But volleyball is the sport I love and that I want to play in college.
