Cali Hudson '19 Recruiting Profile

I'm a junior at Chanute High School. I've had a goal to play at  the college level since I was in elementary school. I'm a dedicated athlete and working to get better on the court and in the weight room. I plan to continue to work hard the next two years so I can continue playing at the next level. I'm a team player and I genuinely love being on the court. I'm always excited to play volleyball and I play with a lot of heart. I push myself to be the leader on the court and never stop communicating. I love volleyball because it's a mental game and you have to constantly think about what you're doing and where you're playing the ball. I'm willing to play any position my coach puts me in. I have experience in every position. The past three years I've been middle blocker for school. In club, I play right side front row and left side back row. For the 2017 season I'm starting middle back and stay there for two rotations then I hit outside on the third rotation. Then I hit middle the next two rotations. I'm middle back again for the 6th rotation. I love the friendships the game helps me gain, and the feeling of success with girls who have became like family throughout the season. I'm undecided in my major and I maintain a 3.85 GPA.
