Laila Gage '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing volleyball since I was 9. Since the beginning I dreamed of playing at the college level. Now I am ready to begin my journey to make my dream a reality. For my high school team, I am a middle hitter. For my club team, I am a middle and outside hitter. I am very coachable and work hard to be a strong athlete. I am always supportive and encouraging to my teammates so I can see them grow as better players and people. I don’t dwell on my mistakes and instead focus on how I can make the next play better. I have a 4.0 GPA and take lots of pride into my academics. My end goal is to be a Physical Therapist. This career path allows me to help people regain their strength after an injury and help people function at their highest capacity. I want to attend a college where I can be challenged academically and athletically. I believe I would be a great teammate and role model in your program!
