Throughout my volleyball career I have learned to deal with controlling my internal and external surroundings. I have become mentally tough which has caused me to be driven in every aspect of my life. Volleyball has been an amazing teacher because it has allowed me to learn that I am not actually an introvert and that I should not limit myself mentally while being confident about everything that I do. Since I am not an introvert, I have learned how to use my characteristics as an extrovert to be a vocal leader on the court which inevitably ends up benefiting myself and my team and promotes success. From volleyball, I have learned how to find balance and peace which were my biggest goals for high school. In college, I hope to push myself even further by competing at a higher level athletically and challenging myself academically.
