Gemma Morris '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I am Gemma, Morris. I am a 2025 LIbero/DS, and I am a sophmore  at Sacred Heart Academy in Louisville Kentucky. I want to go into the Reat-Estate field, or Major in marketing. I play for MAVA 17-Select. 

I can remember when I got my very first serve over the net in 2nd grade. I can see it soaring over the net and dropping on the other side. That was when I realized that drive, work, and attitude is what I am made of and is what makes me love volleyball.

With school, friends, and volleyball I always find myself wanting to get into the gym and touching a ball. In school, I keep up my grades and I have a good relationship with all my teachers.  

I know one day I will be in a gym, at the national championships, back to serve, and I will see that same moment from second grade and know that I'm in the right place. Next thing I know my serve is flying over the net the same way I started. Drive, work, and attitude is what makes me me, and what makes me different among all the others.
