Ivana Stojisavljevic '13 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing the libero position for 4 years. I first started out as a setter, then hit outside for a little, but I realized I play my best in the back row. I am one of the most competitive players that a coach can have on their team. I'm always the loud one on the court and am always cheering for my team. I am currently a captain on my club team, MVSA 17/18s. I have played on the MVSA club team since I was 11 years old. Prior to that I attended many camps and clinics with coach, Francis Cornejo, where he taught me the basics to volleyball. I have also played on my high school's varsity volleyball team since my freshman year, and even then I always had a leader’s attitude. I am always the one to come earlier than needed to practices, and always help out with ending practice as well. I am a very dedicated player and an extremely hard worker. I played a level up during my freshman year for my club team. I would like to attend a big school somewhere warm. If possible I believe that I could compete on the division 2 level. I would love to have a double major in college, one for buisness marketing, and one in mass communications. My athletic goals for myself are always high because I believe in myself and I know that I can push myself to my best to be able to pursue my goals, which is to play at a division 2 college.
