I am looking for a school that will challenge me both athletically and academically. I would like to pursue a university with an environment where I will be able to advance my studies as much as possible.
I have tried many different sports since I was young. However, in 7th grade, I began my commitment to volleyball by trying out for club. Immediately, I knew that volleyball was the sport that I would pursue with passion. Volleyball changed me into a more motivated and hard-working person. Playing in college soon became a huge goal of mine-it meant the ability to challenge more powerful opponents and push to greater heights with a team of similar passion. I play the position outside hitter/defensive specialist on both my high school and club team, and I want to continue to play this position in the future. Volleyball has taught me the fruit of teamwork, mindset of never giving up, and the feeling of reaching towards a goal through hard work, all while having fun. Along with my passion for volleyball, I am very motivated to excel in my studies, while taking all AP and Honors classes.
