Avah Lilley '28 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I am Avah Lilley I think I am a good candidate for the team because I am a hard worker and a great team leader. Everyone always says to put school before sports and that is what I did for awhile. My academics are great, I enjoy learning new things especially science. What makes me different from all the other girls trying to get recruited? Well i honestly don’t know who to answer that question, some players would say their better then others but realistically I don't think I'm even that good at volleyball but I do love the sport very much. I have really bad anxiety but when I’m playing volleyball everything disappears and it’s me and my team playing together. I’m definitely not rich by any means, I go to a small private school in the middle of nowhere Michigan, so I do think these rich and privileged girls will get a spot on a college team but I really wanna prove my haters wrong and fulfill my dream at playing college volleyball.
