Alison Pignataro '23 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I can remember volleyball has been apart of my life.  My passion, hard work ethic, and high volleyball IQ all have contributed to my success. I strive to win and to compete at the highest level possible. My favorite thing about volleyball is that it is a team sport. It's always about "we". Being a setter, my goal is to always be the leader for my team. I always want to do what I do best to set my team up for success. I never have the mentality to lose. No matter the opponent I face, I try to play the best I can and set my team up to win.  I have always been told by my coaches that setters are like quarterbacks. They lead the team. I take that piece of advice to heart and try everyday to be the "quarterback" for my team. Lastly, my relationship with my coach is very important me. I always take my coaches advice  and transfer that advice to my game. I never give up and always want to be the best that I can be.
