My name is Bryana Leverentz. I am an A honor roll student. I am actively involved in my community and church while maintaining good grades and an intense athletic schedule. As a freshman I was on the sophmore team at my high school and was voted captain by my team mates. As a sophmore I was on JV/ Varsity and was again voted captain on JV by my team mates. I believe this shows I possess leadership abilities as well as being a positive and encouraging team mate. I've also received the coaches award and the most spirit award. In the spring my sports over lap and I have both volleyball and track events at the same time. I was awarded with rookie of the year from my track team. Volleyball has had the biggest impact on my life. I originally began because I had a broken arm and the season started later than basketball and I always idolized my sister who played. But now, I can't imagine my life without volleyball. It has shaped me into who I am. My teammates and anyone else I have met through this sport have all played a huge roll in my life. Family, faith, volleyball and school have always been the biggest parts of my life.
If I can play in college I would bring all of this and more to my team. I am hoping to study Physical therapy in college, I have done a lot of research on it and I'm very interested in it. Playing volleyball in college is also very important to me. I am very much hoping I can continue my volleyball career through college.
