Excellence in academics and athletics drives my pursuit of a college experience that provides opportunities to excel and grow.
Athletically, I’ve played volleyball since third grade. I am a three sport athlete, also playing basketball and golf. I play volleyball year-round between school and Club. I was awarded MVP Offense, Best teammate, and Most inspirational. I continue to place maximum effort on developing and playing at the highest level in high school as part of a top-tier program.
Volleyball is a life-long passion for me. I continue to develop, driven by a competitive and team-oriented spirit. I’ve grown in my confidence as a player and a leader. My strengths include coachability and adaptability. I place trust in my coaches and give every effort to learn, grow and succeed in different systems. I excel in environments that challenge me while offering the support of a team with character and accountability. I look forward to finding a program where I can contribute and grow as an athlete, student and person.
Academically, I’ve been successful both in and out of school. I’ve started to develop plans for the future in a few general areas that compliment my interestes and experiences. I’ve maintained honor roll grades and involved myself in many activities including band (including invitation-based Jazz band), choir (including three time select for state honors choir), Knowledge Bowl, and Student Council. I’ve personally studied and developed a limited proficiency in the Russian language over four years of summer and weekend sessions while taking Spanish in high school as well. I’ve traveled widely across the U.S. and Europe which drives my global interests. I continue to develop my academic plans and am considering majors of Slavic Languages, International Relations and Political Science. I hope to find a university experience that provides opportunities to become the best volleyball player I can be, achieve team success, and develop as a professional.
