I would LOVE to play collegiate volleyball at any level. Of course, D-1 or D-2 is always the dream, but if it cannot be accomplished, I'd be happy to play wherever I can. Being a setter would be most comfortable position for me, but I would not mind being placed in different positions because I love learning new positions and finding out how the job differs from the one I know best. I really love sports, and I'd love to go a college with a variety of sports team to go watch and cheer for. I have been thinking about majoring in journalism, specifically in either the magazine or news areas.
I am a hard working, easy-to-work-with, fast learner, who is willing to do what it takes to make my team as successful as possible. I'm a perfectionist who is constantly studying this game on a regular basis in order to make my game and technique better. You could say I'm a "student of the game", meaning I not only play it, I try to watch other athletes at higher levels in order to learn things from them and further grow as a player. I'm a leader on my team, even if I am not captain. Because I am a setter, I am the most calm and collected on the court, trying to make smart decisions in order to get each point. My main goal as a leader is to make sure that all players understand that they are needed and an important part of this team's success. By bringing each other up and helping make each other better, the team can truly work together, and tensions will be much lower between players.
