Hailey Mackenthun '18 Recruiting Profile

Playing college volleyball has always been one of my biggest dreams. I aspire to play at the highest collegiate level possible. I am very passionate about the sport, and play year-round between Northfield High School and Northern Lights. In the off-season, I work to become better by lifting and getting extra reps in my backyard sand volleyball pit. I am very dedicated to the sport and always push to give my best effort. I am a strong leader and captain of my high school team. I show leadership in my communication, but also by my play. I am very vocal on the court by calling shots for my teammates and encouraging other players. I am very coachable and always strive to become a better athlete and teammate. I have a passion to win and love the adrenaline that comes with strong competition. Off the court I work hard academically. I understand the importance of academics and it is a top priority for me, in addition to playing college volleyball. I try to have a positive attitude and outlook on everything. I am very outgoing, respectful, and a team player.
