Personal Statement
I am a passionate and driven Outside Hitter from Maplewood, Minnesota. I started playing volleyball in 3rd grade and have been playing competitively for the past 5 years with Kokoro Volleyball. In 2017, my club team, Kokoro 15-1, won the USA Volleyball National Division National Championship, that being the pinnacle of my volleyball career thus far. I am a starting, six rotation, Outside Hitter on my high school varsity team (Tartan H.S., Oakdale, MN) and have been since my 7th grade year, earning 1st team All Conference and team MVP the last 3 years, along with being named captain 2 years.
I value the leadership role I have been given and pride myself on maintaining a positive mental attitude that helps me achieve greater consistency and success with my game. My coaches and teammates have described me as being a disciplined, dynamic leader, resilient, tenacious, and coachable player, who is always seeking ways to better myself on and off the court.
I am looking for a University that offers a strong Science or Math program where I can dedicate myself to making a contribution academically and athletically, playing volleyball. I am adventurous and open to schools throughout the United States!
