I have been playing volleyball since I was nine years old and in the gym even before that as my mom coached volleyball. I have dreamt of playing college volleyball and that has been what drives me to be successful in the classroom as well.
I make up for the differential in height as a hitter with strength and court awareness. My defensive skills continue to improve as I have grown into a six rotation player. I am a team leader and try to lead by example, I have been told others play harder for me or with me on the court. I work hard and I don't take for granted how great it is to be a part of a good team and play with others who are competitive.
In the classroom, I study hard and am very organized to maintain a solid GPA. I also volunteer at local youth volleyball camps and help coach our youth fall teams. My leadership also shows in being a two year captain and selected by our athletic director to participate in the conference leadership trainings.
I want to attend a college that has the right combination of school programs and volleyball program. I am open to playing any position that my skills can be of value to a team.
