Personal Statement
I have been playing volleyball since the third grade and have grown to love it. It is a game where I can work hard and succeed both physically and mentally. I gain a lot of satisfaction from working together with my team mates and achieving success with them. Good competition pushes me to work even harder and I enjoy pumping up my teammates. My hard work has provided me with a starting varsity position both my freshman and sophomore years. I have achieved success and been recognized as an All Conference, All District, All Region and All State player. My high school team has gone to the state final 4 both of my years with them. I am looking forward to another great season and returning to the final 4 in 2014. I not only work hard in volleyball but work very hard on my school work. I am currently ranked third in my class with a 3.98 GPA. I am looking for a university where I can not only grow as an athlete and compete at the next level, but also prepare myself for a future career.
