My passion for science, math and athletics started at a young age.  I became a competitor not only on the field or court, but also in the classroom.  I constantly try to improve my skills both athletically and academically.  I challenge myself to perform better, whether its running faster, jumping higher, or leaping farther.  In the classroom is no different.  I compete against myself to do better than my last grade or performance. I am a  person of integrity with a tremendous work ethic.  I enjoy structure and detail. In addition,  I'm extremely passionate about helping others.  As a result, I’ve decided to pursue a career which will combine the things I love.  My dream is to become an Orthopedic Physician.  To accomplish this goal, I plan to pursue an undergraduate degree in Biology and Sports Medicine before going to medical school. As an Orthopedic Physician, I would like to specialize in helping athletes in the treatment and recovery from sports related injuries.
