Personal Statement
One of my favorite memories playing volleyball was winning the northern lights qualifier in my 15s year. The satisfaction of working so hard to beat all the team's people thought we couldn't beat. I learned that having a positive outlook and energy can help you win a game. One of the hardest and devastation memories in volleyball, was this year when we lost to a team in the district championships this year for high school ball. Everyone's mindset was this team will be so easy since we've beaten them many times before. Boy were we wrong. I think all of us learned that we can not let our guard down and play our hardest until that final whistle blows and we win.
Throughout my years of playing, I gained so much knowledge of why volleyball is such a complex and fun sport to play. I learned the value of trusting your teammates, sacrifice, dedication, and most importantly a champion mindset. I look for a program that will fit me not only athletically, but also academically. I know I have what it takes to play at a higher level. I have the dedication, the competitive mindset, the work ethic, the coachability, and the talent. I also have the leadership skills and willingness to take charge. I know I would be a good fit for your team!
