I am a multi-sport athlete and sports have shaped and defined my life since I was 10 years old. I play volleyball, basketball, compete in numerous events in track and field, play golf and compete in club volleyball in the spring. Throughout my high school athletics, I have qualified for state in volleyball (2nd place) high jump and golf. While sports is obviously a passion for me I am also involved in rodeo, training my horse and spending time with friends and family.
I am very determined to play volleyball in college. I love being a part of a team, building friendships and competing for a common goal. My on court personality is similar to my everyday personality and it's what makes me the player I am today. I love playing volleyball and people tell me it shows when I'm on the court. I bring a positive vibe to the team, I can bring my teammates morale up when they’re hard on themselves and generally make connections quickly because I focus on being a good teammate first. I've found that I am most successful when my hussle and heart are focused on team success. In any sport I play, I give 110% effort both in practice and in the game. My teammates always quickly turn into my family and I love how that happens in sports.
My fun loving personality is a big part of why I want to go into a field where I help people. How I can make a person feel about their situation or even their day is very rewarding for me. I love to make people smile and laugh and am an easy conversationalist. I am greatly looking forward to my next four years of college where I can compete in the sport I love, and strive for my professional goals to serve people.
