Personal Statement
I will begin with a quote, by Ralph Waldo Emerson.
"Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail."
Growing up and playing sports in a rural community fits this quote and me.
Working hard together, as a community, as a team is what we have.
It is how we survive, it is how we thrive. It is how we celebrate and it is how mourn.
We are not deep with skilled players, quite the opposite, we are deep with respect for each other and passion for the game.
This is how we play, this is how we win and this is how we lose.
It is this drive and passion that I bring everyday to the classroom, the weight room, and ultimately the court.
My college goals and aspirations are simple.
I promise I will give my all to the school that will take it.
