I started playing volleyball when I was nine years old, but only because one of my friends had talked me into it. It was not until almost the end of that I realized that I was hooked on the sport. One thing that has increased the amount of time that I spend every day on volleyball is the fact that now I am able to play it with my sisters. I enjoyed being able to teach them how to play volleyball and watching them improve their skill level.
Through volleyball, I have become interested in many things, including the human body. As I continued to play volleyball, I became very curious about how it worked and how the anatomy of a volleyball player was different than a runner and so on. Because of this, I am interested in pursuing a career in the medical field, potentially athletic training. I am a very kind and compassionate person and I feel like that helps me get to know my teammates better and build a stronger bond within the team.
