Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Kiya Johnson. I'm in only my third year of playing volleyball. I attend DC West High School, where I play varsity as a middle blocker. I also play for Nebraska Elite for the 161s Maverick's. My goals are to play college volleyball for a Division I school, and to help them compete for a national championship. I have a secondary goal to run track for the same university willing to allow me to compete for their track and field team. I will continue to work hard in the weight room, and on the court, to build my skills and strength in order to play at the next level. I will do whatever it takes, even if it means pushing myself out of my comfort zone.
