My name is Turi Trainor, and I am a 5’9” setter from Las Vegas, Nevada. I have been playing volleyball since third grade, and began playing for my club, BBC Las Vegas Volleyball, in seventh grade. I am a very hardworking, determined, ambitious and competitive person. I am always pushing myself to do my best no matter what it is. I do workouts such as Crossfit and the Peloton at least three times a week to help improve my strength, speed, and overall athleticism. I also take scholars and AP classes at Bishop Gorman High School to help me be the most educated version of myself that I can be.
I always try my absolute hardest whether it is on or off the court. I am looking for a school that challenges me to become a better athlete and a better student. I am looking to play at a school with a program that is highly competitive. I would prefer somewhere on the east coast, the south, or the midwest. I am not afraid to venture somewhere far from home.
I am a good leader and a coachable athlete. I am always looking for feedback from my coaches and teammates to help improve not only my game, but my whole team’s. I work well with others and am able to listen to what they have to say. I love the game of volleyball and cannot wait to play in college.
