Anika DiVirgilio '26 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing volleyball since the fourth grade. I play beach, grass and indoor. I am a libero.  I also set for my middle school team.  I played club for SMASH Volleyball as Libero for their 13 National Team. I have played for CMASS since being on the 14 National Team as Libero. This season I am a DS/Libero for the 16 National Team for CMASS.  I was unable to play school volleyball last season (2022-2023) due to a broken leg, however, my coach asked me to be the Varsity Manager which allowed me to stay close with my teammates and stay involved in the game, although it was in a different way.  It allowed me to gain more knowledge and court IQ by watching from the sidelines and helping my coaches and observing the game from a different perspective, while encouraging my teammates and still contributing to my team.  I was very excited to be back on the court this school season and feeling great.

I aspire to play at the highest level possible in college while also challenging myself academically. I would like to pursue a career in Anthropology and Archaeology.  I am a dedicated and committed student and athlete who works hard to achieve my goals, both on and off the court.
