Personal Statement
8th grade: 5A High School Varsity Volleyball starting setter and also one of three captains. Finished as District Honorable Mention. Coach: Toby Manzanares, NM Hall of Fame Coach.
9th grade: Starting Setter at 5A Cleveland High School. I loved the opportunity I had to learn from the older girls on my team and to compete at the Varsity level. All-District, Athlete of the Week (Observer) Led team to State Semi-Finals
10th grade: All-Tournament Team (Sweet 16 Las Cruces), All-Tournament Rio Rancho Volleyfest, Athlete of the Week (Observer), First Team All-Metro, First Team All-State, District Player of the Year
11th grade: All-State 1st team, All-Metro, All-District, District Player of the Year
Other extra-curricular activities that I was involved in was serving as my middle school Student Body President, playing the guitar, participating in my church activities, and I also am proficient in American Sign Language because my sister is deaf.
