Personal Statement

The biggest strengths I have as a person are the ability to lift people’s spirit and my strong academic record as an honor student. I am athletically diverse and have always participated in a variety of sports, but I've always known in my heart that volleyball was the right sport for me.  I’m not afraid to dive in order to save the ball, and I welcome every opportunity to receive feedback and coaching to improve my skills. When it's game time, I put aside any worries and only focus on helping my team by playing my best. I aspire to be a good role model for younger athletes. I know that I am capable of playing competitively at the college level. I look forward to being able to prove myself in college on the court and in the classroom.
