Gabriella Gileno '24 Recruiting Profile

I started playing volleyball in 7th grade for my school's modified team. After a full season of it, I fell in love with the sport. I am currently a sophomore at Brewster High School. In 2021 I started my club team at Downstate Juniors VBC. I understand that playing in college will be a huge opportunity and I am highly motivated and ready for the challenge. 

I am a very coachable player and always ask questions. I show positive energy on and off the court no matter the circumstance. I love meeting and getting to know new people.

In the classroom, I try my hardest and receive honor roll/high honor roll each quarter. I excel in Science, Psychology and Math.  I would love to focus on either one of those later on in the future.  

 I am open to all options and am eager to find the right college for me. Ultimately I want to play the sport that I have loved for the past couple years, in college.
