Volleyball was an extracurricular activity that I indulged myself in during middle school. It wasn't as competitive but was an enjoyable sport since I was going out of my comfort zone to learn something new. It wasn't until before high school when I got to learn the skills and rules.
For a couple of years that I've played volleyball, I've grown as a person due to the things you learn from this sport. It taught me discipline, respect, resilience, and most importantly teamwork. Volleyball creates an understanding of how you need to work well around others and learn from them. I want to take Volleyball seriously and make sure it becomes a reality.
I desire to attend a college that will bring a push in the classroom but also on the court. Playing in college will be a tremendous opportunity to grow and absorb new skills from coaches. I want to assure the college coaches interested that I put effort into becoming a better student, and a volleyball player every day. I am not only trying to make myself better but also my team.
