My name is Madison Elam and I am a Junior at Churchville-Chili High School. This past year as a Junior, I was the starting setter/RS for my varsity team which finished 11-8 overall and 6-4 in a very competitive Monroe County Class AA league, eventually falling in the sectional semi-finals. I led the team with 280 assists, 47 aces and added 84 kills, 19 blocks and 128 digs. I was selected as the team MVP and also earned 2nd team All Monroe Country honors. I was also selected Varsity MVP my sophomore year, and JV MVP my freshman year. I started playing club volleyball in 6th grade and instantly fell in love with it. In addition, I danced for 10 years, but gave it up so I could fully commit to volleyball. I am primarily a setter, but I also love playing right side and outside hitter. For club this year, I was the starting setter on Xtreme VBC National 17-1's team. On the court I am a passionate and determined player. I am willing to work hard and am constantly striving to improve. In addition to school volleyball and club volleyball, I play doubles at the beach every chance I get. My dream is to play college volleyball and I am willing to do the hard work and preparation needed to take my dreams to the next level.
