Mia Colombo '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Mia, I spent my whole childhood watching my older sister play volleyball. Watching her play in school, travel and then in college, really inspired me to start playing and I eventually fell in love with the sport. I started playing club when I was 11 years old for Sportime 12u. I tried out for school ball in 7th grade and made the team, I continued with club and made the team again in 8th grade.  As a freshman I made the varsity school team as a setter and played varsity again as starting setter the following year.  I am dedicated, extremely coachable, always strive to improve and I am a team player. Academically, I have always taken pride in my grades and being the best student and person I could be.  I was inducted into junior honor society and currently maintain A's in my classes.
