Being a military child my whole life, I've had to move around a lot. But, it has given me so many opportunities to play on different teams with amazing coaches and teammates all over the country. These experiences have made me very resilient and adaptable and helped me become who I am as a volleyball player, and person today. I became interested in volleyball in 6th grade when I tried out for my first club team. Throughout my time playing volleyball, I've learned about my mental strength and how it plays a big piece in competing. Having the ability to mentally flip a switch and stay strong and focused during a game gives me an advantage over my opponents who might dwell on their mistakes. My academic goals for high school are to graduate with a 4.0. My academic goals for college are to study sports sciences or become a sports medicine doctor.
