Samantha Dalton '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing volleyball since I was nine years old, and am on my fourth year of club volleyball. Although, volleyball has always been my favorite sport, I was a multi-sport athlete and have strived to be the best I can be.  A goal of mine has been playing at the collegiate level. Playing in college would change my life and is full with new experiences. It also is a great opportunity that I would like to take.

I have quick movement and fast reactions with a strong spot serve.  I always give 110% effort at every single practice and game. I am a very hard worker and I have very good attention to detail. I am coachable and always try to show the best version of myself that I can. I am also a team leader and encourage my team. I believe a big part of the sport is the energy and is a mental game. So I do my best to pick up my team and uplift everyone. I will always work my hardest to be one of the best  players and recruits. 

In school I also always give all my effort. I study hard and am not afraid to ask questions if I don't understand something.  Academics are a very important part of my career. I always try to maintain the best I can do with every exam and homework assignment. I have made Honor Roll and am in Honor Society. I also participate in some extracurricular activities.  Such as, Kaleidoscope Club because I love the arts.  Also, Seas club because our earth and environment is essential. 

I would like to attend at a college that will make me strive to do my best always. I want to find a college that will make me push myself to be the best version of myself especially on the court and in the classroom. I am open to all options and want to find the right match for me. I desire to achieve all my goals, be an example for those to come, and always make my family proud.
