I started playing volleyball in 7th grade. I was about 12 years old and it was the most popular sport that people tried out for in Middle School. I never thought that starting to play in Middle School would ever bring me to this point in my volleyball career. I fell in love with the game and every time I step onto the court I' in a completely different world.
I started my high school volleyball career as a starter on Jv. I used to be a setter on that team and then my coach now pulled me up to varsity for my sophomore year. I trained and only started in a couple of games that year. I practiced as a right side player and an outside player. My junior year I started as a right side player playing all 6 rotations. My coach then tried me in the middle and that's where I stayed for the last half of the season and the playoffs. I did play back row as well. I am also on the 17-white Academy team right now playing all 6 rotations as an outside.
My academics are really well. My average is always around a 95.00 to a 97.00. I make Principle's List almost every quarter. I am also enrolled in an AP Language course as well as all honors except for Pre Calculus and Physics which these classes don't have honors. I am always on top of my work and never really procrastinate. I a scheduled to take the SAT on March 5th for the new addition of the test. I have ordered two books to study from and have been studying for a while now. Being in the AP Language class serves as a big advantage to skills used to improve my score for the SAT. I have taken the PSAT and received a score of 1010 for the new issued test.
For college my main priority is getting into the school that will give me the best education to become a nurse. I want to be a nurse because there are many nurses in my family that I've heard stories and given advice about getting into the nursing program. I think I will be a good nurse because I am very good in crisis situations and react quickly and smart to the situation that is happening.
I fell in love with the game of volleyball so I want to continue my volleyball career to the next level to keep doing what I love and meeting new people that love the game as much as I do.
