Maura McGlynn '19 Recruiting Profile

I have enjoyed playing many sports growing up but my love for volleyball goes unmatched.  On my high school team I play all-around but primarily outside hitter.  I play setter all-around on my club team, Downstate 16 Black.  I am 5'9 and realistically in college, setting is the better fit for me.    I have played almost every position on the court and I believe this shows my versatility and knowledge of the game.  I adapt to whatever my team needs me to do.  My coaches make the game plan and I go with it.

I am also an officer in the National Junior Honor Society with a 4.1 GPA.  I am a member of TeenAngels which is a program where myself and others have been specially trained in all aspects of online safety, privacy and security. 

I also enjoy doing triathlons.
