McKayla Rafferty '25 Recruiting Profile

Growing up in a sports family household definitely inspired me to take the path I am following today. I have an older brother than plays football at Army West Point Military Academy, and he is my biggest inspiration and role model to look up to. My goal is to not only achieve what I want to accomplish, but to help others do the same. I consider myself a team leader, someone that teammates can look up to, talk to, and follow in my footsteps. Someone who has good leadership and sportsmanship, that will help the team work together, grow, and succeed. Everyone has their own spice to them, I think mine is my personality. Working together on a court with someone who has a great personality makes it so much easier to work with them and makes playing with them more enjoyable. Volleyball is not just a sport to me, but it's where I've found some of the best people that I've met, and they've become family.
