I feel I am a utility player focusing on both middle and outside positions with a strong work ethic and a continuous desire to excel and grow with a collegiate team .
One of the aspects I love most about the game is working with coaches to better myself as a player and a person.
Out of every sport I have played, I have found that volleyball is the one sport I am closest with my teammates. Building strong relationships with my teammates and coaches on and off the court is something I value very much. Having a trusting relationship with your teammates and coaches off the court continues onto the court which is very important in volleyball. What I love so much about volleyball is how much everyone on the court must trust each other to have their back, or get to that ball. One thing I am looking for in a program, is the value of strong relationships with their athletes.
I am currently in the gym lifting and cardio 4 or 5 times a week. In addition, I do a workout camp and club volleyball outside of the lifting program, which focuses on agility, speed, and muscular endurance. I am also working with my club coach a couple times a week to improve and expand my skill set.
