Julianna Volante '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5’6 1/2 junior  at Smithtown East High School. I am a right handed outside hitter. My ultimate goal is to play competitive volleyball in college while earning my college degree. I'm interested in majoring in Business. I feel that playing volleyball in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that will be part of me for the rest of my life. 

I have the ability and skill to be a versatile player. I started playing volleyball in fourth grade and from then I have fallen in love with the sport. I am an outside hitter on my high school team and my club team. I am dedicated, hard-working, and extremely passionate. I am currently the captain on my club team and I really enjoy the role. I am a very supportive and encouraging teammate and a very coach-able player.

I have played sports (mostly volleyball and basketball) ever since I can remember. My parents believe and have instilled in me that playing a sport is about more than just great athletics and skill but much more about life….being part of a team, accountability, dedication, hard work and determination. 

My love for volleyball is incredible. I know it will take a lot of dedication and passion to be successful at the next level. I believe in my heart I would be a great asset to your program. I am ready for ALL OF IT!!!!
