I am a very hard working, motivated, and well rounded team player and as my coach has told me many times, a natural leader. This is reflected both on and off the court. My grades are extremely important to me. In my freshman year of high school, I was ranked number 6 in my class of over 525 students, with a 98.5 un-weighted average. What makes me different from the other kids in the top 1 percent of my class, is that I am very well rounded. I accomplished this while playing fall volleyball and winter basketball along with club volleyball. I was a starting OH all three years to date and was made captain, starting my sophomore, year. I was named MVP at the end of my sophomore JV season and received the commitment award after my junior year. I started playing club volleyball when I was in 8th grade. I received the club sportsmanship award my first year. In addition to my studies and sports, I teach faith formation to 1st graders in my church parish, which is a great way to start my week. My passion is volleyball, but I also enjoy learning foreign languages. I graduated from German American school in May of Sophomore year, which I had been attending since Kindergarten and consecutively ranked number 1 in my class. I received the NYS German American scholarship award through the German American Consulate. I am very proud of my accomplishments to date and look forward to my future. I believe the best is yet to come.
