Alex Prots '16 Recruiting Profile

My goals for the future are to play volleyball in college while maintaining a high academic record. My exact major is still uncertain, but I know I want to study in the medical field, possibly nursing or health science. Where ever I go to school, I want to continue to play volleyball. I have a real passion for the game and I want to take every opportunity to play and make it a big part of my life as long as possible.
I would be a great addition to any team because of my versatility. Although my primary position is outside hitter, I have played right side hitter, DS, and currently play middle blocker because of my quickness and jumping ability. Coaches and opponents tend to underestimate me as a hitter because of my height, but I work hard to prove that I can compete with the best of them.
