Emma Vacha '22 Recruiting Profile

Being the tallest girl wasn't always fun for me, but with my height in the volleyball world, I'm not consider tall and it something that makes me feel at home in this sport. I've been made fun of because of my height. Stood out among crowds, been told I look older when I'm only 16, and so many more things. 

    No matter what position I am playing, I will always work my hardest in it, even if it is a position I haven't played. No matter what happens too, I will always play to my top game. During the Sunshine tournament in 2019, I had food poisoning and I still played out on the court with my teammates. I didn't want to give up on them. I wanted to win with them. I played my hardest even while I was in pain. I will work and push through anything that can come my way. I don't back down from challenges. Most importantly, I never give up on my team, my coaches, my parents, or even me.
