Lauren Hunt '26 Recruiting Profile

Volleyball is my passion! There are many things that I enjoy doing but volleyball is my number one, which is why I am looking to play at the collegiate level. 

I think I would be an asset to any team because of my leadership, focus, hard work and coachability. I love winning and I know that requires me to continually improve my skills. I enjoy working with and getting feedback from my coaches because I know that they want me to succeed just as much as I do.  One of my best characteristics is that I am extremely coachable. I enjoy the challenge of finishing a season better than I began. Leadership on the court is something I am good at and enjoy! Encouraging and pushing my teammates to win is a non-negotiable for me. As cliche as sounds, I understand that the difference between a good team and a great team is the ability to work together and not individually. 

Outside of volleyball I enjoy camping and shopping! I love animals and the beach. I volunteer at church and with our athletic leadership organization at school. I feel that time away from the court/gym makes me a better player and teammate when I get back.
