Gianna Marie Forbis '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches, my name is Gianna Forbis, I am 16 years old and I am a 5'5-5'6 setter from Raleigh, North Carolina. I have been playing volleyball since I was nine years old, and ever since then I have had a passion for the game. I play the game to win the game and I am very spirited about volleyball. I believe that I play from my heart and that is what makes me stand out from other players. I admire the game and play it to the best of my ability for the team. I care a lot about volleyball, but academics will always come first. Some players get so caught up in their sport that their grades start dropping, but for me I care first about academics, and volleyball second. I am very coachable in my athletics and believe criticism makes you a better player, but only if you take it with the right attitude.
