ActivitiesVolunteer with various charities. School volleyball, club volleyball and beach volleyball take up a lot of my time. I have five sisters in my family with a single mom. I can drive now and work everyday I am not at volleyball practice or tournament. I help pay for volleyball and my gas, car insurance and maintenance. I also buy my my own clothes to help my mom. I volunteer in school activities such as clean up lakes and help build my cousin remodel. I want to pursue a Construction Management degree or something similar to go into that field when I graduate. At the very end of my Junior school year or 2023/2024 Two of my papers that were due at the end of the semester/school year also happened to be large grades in two of my IB classes. I had too much AI use, we were taught in IB how to use it, and I thought I was using it correctly. Writing my words and incorporating AI the way they taught us to use it effectively. I learned I hadn't used it correctly and received a 0 on each paper. My teacher told me exactly what is needed to do to fix it, and I have redone my English paper to turn in this August. Our teachers are working on new AI use rules that are clearly typed out for our International Baccalaureate program. Many of my peers all "misused" AI at the end of the school year and we were all instructed all of our Summer assignments are to not even use grammarly. I am telling you this so you know why my grades went down, I should have had higher IB English and IB Theory of Knowledge grades. I sadly learned the hard way for sure on how NOT to use AI, we were taught by one teacher in IB History to use it, but when we used it for our IB English and Theory of Knowledge teachers, many of us didn't use it correctly. I would like to point out that my schedule was everyday I went to either work after school or to volleyball practice or we were traveling for volleyball. So pushing myself to be in the International Baccalaureate Program while working daily and play travel Club, shows my, I can handle college and playing college ball!
