Alyssa Henson '15 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing volleyball since I was in third grade. Since I was little, I have always wanted to play college volleyball and I also grew up watching it. I am hardworking, coachable, have a great attitude, and am a good player. I am a 5'8" outside hitter, and although I may seem short for an outside hitter, I can jump and I know where to put the ball. I currently play for Cincy Crush VBC, but recently played for Positivley Charged VBC for two years. I also play Varsity for Amelia High School, and also played for Mcnicholas High School. One of my biggest goals is to play at the collegiate level and to hopefully get a scholarship. I have watched Penn State, Ohio State, Missouri, and UK and have learned alot just by watching them. I also hope to maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher and score good on the SAT. I am different from other players because I have so many different goals that I want to accomplish and I feel as if I am a solid player all around.
