Holly Giese '19 Recruiting Profile

All my life I have been playing sports. Up until this year I have been a 3 sport, student athlete juggling school, school volleyball, cheerleading, and softball, while also doing club volleyball. I have decided to take my volleyball career to the next level and work to play in college. I am a very independent, passionate, coachable person. Ever since I can remember, I have always had a full schedule. This taught me how to prioritize, time manage, and find what truly drives me. I love being apart of a team and thankfully volleyball is a team sport. Without all the pieces, the game wouldn't work. I have also come to know that volleyball is more mental than physical. This part is what truly separates the good players from the great players. Knowing this part of the game, having my physical strength, and being a good teammate on and off the court sets me apart from other players.
