Personal Statement
Ever since I started playing volleyball in elementary school, I knew that I wanted it to be a big part of my life. When I was 11, I decided to take volleyball more seriously and play club. Ever since then, volleyball has been something I have been able to rely on; it has taught me so many things: how to be a good teammate, how to work in the face of adversity, and the importance of leading. Playing volleyball has also taught me how to balance athletics and academics, both of which are extremely important to me. I intend to finish high school with a 4.0 GPA and hope to attend college majoring in biology or chemistry since both subjects interest me. I am looking forward to pursuing the opportunity to play college volleyball.
